2022 National Survey of Student Engagement Campaign

The National Survey on Student Engagement (NSSE) invites first-year and fourth-year undergraduate students to provide feedback about their experience and engagement levels in programs and services offered by York University. To visually represent and connect pan-university promotions together, this campaign utilizes a speech bubble stamp in all graphics. The speech bubble is an easy and distinguishable symbol for digital conversation and discussion.

 

Photoshoot Direction for Recruitment and Social Accounts

For the past 2 years in the spring/summer time, I have planned and directed the photoshoots done by Mike Ford (+ his team) on campus. These photos/videos were taken to showcase the various experiences on campus and off campus for York students.

 

 

Attracting prospective students through advertising

In supporting the recruitment initiatives of York University, I have designed several advertisement campaigns across a variety of platforms, display and social, for the past 3 years.

Specific results from the 2022-23 cycle achieved a 57% increase in clicks from the previous cycle. During the 2023-24 cycle it features:

  • 12 campaigns targeting 3 future student cohorts

  • 63 unique priority programs and 10 thematic clusters in the Priority Programs campaign

  • 8 regional audience markets (21 countries)

I oversee designing any domestic campaigns for this year’s advertising cycle in addition to planning the artwork of the international campaigns for our vendor.

 
 

2023 Scholarships Awareness Campaign

This campaign is aimed at driving awareness for the International scholarships and financial aid opportunities offered by York University.

 

2023 Glendon French Africa

This new campaign, previously the Glendon French European campaign, will focus on promoting the unique programs and community at Glendon Campus to French speaking countries in Africa. 

 

2022 Transfer Campaign

The Transfer campaign aims to raise awareness for the transfer pathways that current students at other post-secondary institutions in Ontario can use to switch to York University.

 
 

2023 Priority Programs Advertisement Campaign

This is one of the largest campaigns of the domestic recruitment cycle and this year, it features 10 thematic clusters. Each clusters represents six Faculty identified priority programs that could benefit from support in awareness and driving applications.
